Volunteer Opportunities
Our volunteer program is designed to stimulate friendships, create a sense of well being and a wide variety of activities thus enhancing the lives of those being served. The volunteer does not replace the caregiver; they assist the caregiver in offering additional personal and emotional care to our residents.

Auxiliary
Bay Bluffs Auxiliary is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1966 as a way to support the residents through various ways.
Throughout the years the Auxiliary has played a crucial role in many ways. They've contributed toward an outdoor therapy garden, birdseed for the outdoor feeders, a large TV in activity alley, the lobby Christmas tree, new clocks in resident’s rooms, a table for use in physical therapy, laptop computer for resident use along with two computers used for charting.
They also provide and serve cookies and punch for holiday parties such as Valentines day, St. Patrick’s Day, Halloween, etc., as well as flowers on Mother’s and Father’s day. At the annual Christmas party, residents receive a personalized gift purchased and wrapped by the auxiliary.
Every Wednesday BINGO is held with the assistance of Auxiliary members. It's a favorite of residents, as they are able to win donated prizes such as stuffed animals, jewelry, socks and even a dollar bill.
The Auxiliary meets the first Wednesday of each month at noon. A complimentary lunch is provided by Bay Bluffs. If you are interested in joining this team or have any questions, please contact Bay Bluffs at (231) 526-2161.
FUNDRAISING
The Auxiliary's primary fundraiser is an annual raffle. Prizes are generously donated by the community. Raffle tickets are available May through Labor Day.
