What Exactly is a CNA?
A CNA staff member has a long list of duties, but taken all together, they add up to a very rewarding skill set. Think of it this way: It’s like taking care of a beloved family member, one who needs help throughout the day. CNAs provide the hands-on care that many patients with varying degrees of mobility require: grooming and bathing; and moving from place to place; (from bed to wheelchair, for example) and assisting during mealtime, as needed. In other words, CNA professionals help smooth the way for residents as they go about their daily routines here in their home.
