Bay Bluffs Partnership:
To meet the growing demand for long-term nursing care in the region, Bay Bluffs — Emmet County Medical Facility has partnered with North Central Michigan College (NCMC), long known for the quality of its nursing program, to focus on certifying new colleagues and increasing the pool of available recruits. The NCMC/Bay Bluffs collaboration includes a number of certified and licensed healthcare programs, including those available through its Fast Track accelerated courses. “We are more than thrilled about the NCMC partnership,” says Ashley. “It is an enormous step in building workforce capacity.”

Petoskey-Harbor Springs Area Community Foundation (PHSACF)
Wherever you go in Emmet County, you’ll find the Petoskey-Harbor Springs Area Community Foundation (PHSACF) at work: helping enrich the lives of our elders, supporting programs for children, reaching out to friends and neighbors in need, expanding parks and recreational activities, protecting our environment, enhancing health services and bringing more music, art, and cultural opportunities to our area.
For Bay Bluffs, PHSACF was instrumental in the creation of the Friends of Hospice of Little Traverse Bay Fund, the driving force and main funding source for Hiland Suites.
